This month there's a retrospective of the work of the late photographer Tom Lee, organized by my friends Diane Coady and George (The Greek) Oswalt.
I love photography and do it on an amateur level, so I really appreciate Tom's work and wish I could be in Oklahoma for this retrospective...I knew Tom enough to say hi to him at the coffeeshop, but never really got to know him well. I regret not taking the time to do so.
Tom managed to create his great photos despite being a quadriplegic since the age of 17. Watch the video:
